The American Bar Association’s Write and Tell hosted a Live livestream author conversation featured author Sara Block and Commission Chair Maricarmen Garza. Sara is author of “Together Unbroken: Stories, Law, Practice, and Healing at the Intersection of Domestic Violence and Child Welfare.” This event was cosponsored by the ABA Center on Children and the Law and ABA Commission on Homelessness & Poverty. “Together Unbroken” explores the response of the child welfare system to families experiencing domestic violence and presents substantive analysis alongside narratives from the lives of people impacted by the intersection of domestic violence and child welfare.
